GEORGE WOLF (1930 – 2018)
After a courageous struggle, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2018, George Wolf of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Rosina for 62 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Erika Csoff of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of Courtney Wolf of St. Thomas, Jared (Robyn) Wolf of Petrolia and Sean Csoff of Tillsonburg. Dear father-in-law of Anna Marie Wolf of St. Thomas. George is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Rosina (Bachner) Wolf, his son George Wolf, sisters Rosina Wolf and Rosina Horeth and brother-in-law John Horeth. George was a proud member of the Delhi German Hall, the Saxonian Hall in Aylmer and a valued employee at Livingston Industries for 42 years. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will commence on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. The Funeral Service for George will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment to follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to Peace Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Wolf family.
