Georgette Laura Daigle
27 January , 1933 – 4 October , 2018
DAIGLE, Georgette (Tremblay)– At the Ottawa Civic Hospital, with loved ones by her side, on Thursday October 4, 2018, Georgette passed away at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Roger Daigle. Dear mother of Roger (Rosalind), Philippe (Sherry), Jocelyne Cameron (Ian), Marc (Debora), Lise Irwin (Paul), Elaine, Alain (Lori), and Marie-Anne (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Alison (Dave), Aaron (Jasmine), April, Adam, Brian, Benjamin (Alicia), Emily (Joel), Bryce (Mallory), Karen (Mike), Maxwell (Stephanie), Lily, Laura (Andy), Alex (Eric), Dayna, Kayla (Jeff), Ryan, Brandon (Marisa), Catherine and William. Loving great-grandmother Destiny (Riley), Jack, Corben, Austin (Keshia), Taylor, Nora, Jane, Duncan, Jace, and Summer.
Georgette is survived by her sisters Jeannette (late Marcel Seguin), Gabrielle (late Tony Larin), Therese (Burt Leblanc), Cecile (Richard Meilleur), Paulette (Pete) and her brothers Ronald (Denise) and Denis. Also leaving behind her sister-in-laws Jean, Vivianne, Marie, Therese (Ken), Isabelle, Sylvia and Lena. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, and lovingly remembered by her niece Nicole. Georgette will be missed by Stormont Community Living, Lasalle Home.
Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Germaine (Andre) Tremblay, and brothers George, Leo, Gerald and Robert. Pre-deceased by her sister-in-law Paulette and brother-in-laws John, Conrad and Leo.
In following with Georgette’s wishes, there will be no services. A private family interment will follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Community Living – South Stormont County (Lasalle Home) 280 Ninth St. W. Cornwall or Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
