Georges Norbert Robichaud
1937-2018
ALDOUANE, NB – Georges Robichaud 81, of Aldouane
passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Dr.
Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Sunday,
October 28, 2018. Born in Aldouane, he was the son of the
late Alphonse Robichaud and late Marguerite (Daigle)
Robichaud. Before retiring, George was a
fisherman.
Georges will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years
Jeanne-Mance (LeBlanc) Robichaud of Aldouane; one daughter,
Monique Robichaud (Yannick) of St. Antoine; one son, Philippe
Robichaud (Paulette) of Dieppe and three grandchildren, Julien,
Émilie and Jacob.
He is also survived by three sisters, Gilberte Vautour (late
Maxime) of St. Louis, Albertine Richard (Christin) of
Richibouctou-Village, Marie-Mai Robichaud (late Leo) of Lakeville; one
brother, Pierre Robichaud (Lucille) of Aldouane and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters,
Annette, Thérèse, Juliette and four brothers,
Yvon, Vincent, Aurelle and Gonzague.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at 2:00 pm
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de
Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto. Donations in
Georges memory may be made to the Tree of Hope or NB Kidney
Foundation. The family wish to express a very special thank
you to Dr. Yves Thibeault and staff of the Renal Care Program at the
Dumont Hospital.
