George Wayland
George Francis Wayland of Kincardine, passed away peacefully, at Chartwell Residence, Parkhill, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018, in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley Wayland (née Lowry), who predeceased him in 2004.
Loving father and father-in-law of Darlene (Lou) Morris of Kincardine, Sally Wayland of Calgary, Kevin Wayland (Dave) of Toronto, Ken Wayland of Whitby and Patsy Wayland (Steve) of Brampton.
Missed by his 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by his siblings Orville (Bev) Wayland of Goderich, Joanne Cameron of Kincardine, members of the Lowry family and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Alma (née Caskanette) Wayland, brother Vernon Wayland and brother-in-law Ron Cameron.
A memorial service to celebrate George’s life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Kincardine on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations to the Covenant House or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
