George Trenholm
Hart – 59, Bible Hill,
passed away suddenly and peacefully, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, as a result of
complications of a stroke on June 28, 2018. Born in Londonderry, he
was a son of the late George and Ada (Lake) Hart.
Trenholm worked at Scotsburn/Agropur for 40 years. He was a
very generous man who would help anyone and enjoyed fishing, pool,
woodworking and playing on the computer.
Trenholm is survived by his children, Tee-Jay Hart, Truro;
Dezaray Hart (Cody Curry), Dartmouth; Kendal Hart (Cody Davidson),
Truro; common-law spouse, Kimberley « Kim » Roode,
Bible Hill, and her children, Kayla Rushton, Halifax; Daniel McLaren,
Truro; Kaitlyn McLaren (Matthew Peppard), Truro; Carl Duffy, Jr.,
Truro; siblings, Dorothy Swan, Bible Hill; Ann Kennedy, Halfway Brook;
Rose MacKinnon (Ivan Bezanson), Middle Stewiacke; Perry Hart (Patty
Miller), Great Village; brother-in-law, Gary Blaikie, Truro; several
nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his
sister, Mary Blaikie.
Special thanks are extended to the EHS and First Responders,
surgeons at Halifax Infirmary, QEII, who worked for several hours to
try and help Trenholm and also the amazing staff at Colchester East
Hants Health Centre.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where
Trenholm’s family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.,
Tuesday, July 31, 2018. If so desired, donations in
Trenholm’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova
