SIDDONS, George
Passed away peacefully in his 89th year on Thursday, December 6, 2018 and reunited with Violet his loving wife of 58 years. Loving father of Cheryl Siddons (Gary) and Carla McShane. Dear grandfather of Adam, Kim, and great-granddaughter Ainsley. Also survived by sister-in-law Ellen Aris (Albert) and numerous nieces and nephews. George was born in Kayville, Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario in 1942. George was an active member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 272 for almost 40 years as well as a volunteer for Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign. He was employed at White Halls, Joy Manufacturing, Budd Automotive and Babcock & Wilcox. George enjoyed his leisure time fishing, camping, enjoying a rye, or spending time with his canine friends. Special thanks to the Oncology Department at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the Palliative Care Team. Visitation will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 2pm until the time of funeral service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Legion Poppy Fund or Cambridge Humane Society
