Obituary for George Samuel Cox
It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Samuel Cox announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Center in Harbour Breton on Thursday, February 8th, 2018, at the age of 85 years, from Wreck Cove.
He leaves to mourn with precious memories his loving wife, Jane, of 60 years; sons, Russell (Donna) at Wreck Cove, Carl (Linda) at Boxey and Dwayne (Phoebe) at Wreck Cove; daughters, Ruby (Garfield) at Hermitage, Elaine (Trevor) at Middle Sackville, NS and Lorraine (Jamie) at Paradise; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother in law, William Bartlett at Coomb’s Cove; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, George and Caroline Cox; brothers, Charlie and Clayton Cox; sisters, Sarah Price, Eliza Thornhill and Velma Bartlett.
