RESENDES, George.
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing
of George Resendes. Loving and devoted husband of 40 years to Jayne.
Loving and caring father of three daughters Angie Resendes, Jennifer
Medeiros (Ruben) and Christina Resendes. Proud papa to 5
granddaughters Delilah, Abigail, Kaidence, Khloe and Amilya. Survived
by his siblings Maria Chaves (Joao), Jose Resendes (Conceicao),
Cisaltina (Manuel Chaves) and Joao Resendes (Natalia). Predeceased by
his parents Jose and Filomena Resendes.
George was a wonderful and loving family man who loved his 9 girls
with all of his heart and soul. His children and grandchildren were
his world. George was the owner of Elgin Auto for over 30 years and
was a well-respected mechanic in Cambridge. Everyone loved George.
He was always willing to help anyone. The family would like to thank
their care team for all their help over the last few months,
especially Chantelle, Danielle and his sister Maria.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge on
Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. Funeral Service
will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, November
8, 2018 at 11am.
