George Joseph Morelli
5 December , 1944 – 4 May , 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, dad and Papa, George Joseph Morelli . George passed away peacefully after a short illness on May 4, 2018 in Nanaimo . George was born in Abbotsford BC, Dec 5, 1944 to John and Joan Morelli. He is predeceased by his dad and mom, brother Lloyd and sister Marj. He leaves to mourn, his wife of 53 years Sherree, daughter Michele (Warren), son Marty (Etanda), grandchildren Cole, Cassandra, Tanner and Tyce, siblings Vern (Marilyn), Ernie (Donna), Don (Carol), Dennis (Judy), Louise (Ian), Steve (Diane), Georgio and many nieces, nephews and friends.
George lived in Langley his entire life, moving to the Island to enjoy retirement in January of 2017. He was a loyal husband, devoted father and cherished friend. George volunteered with the Langley Fire Department for 14 years and he belonged to the Langley Crib League for 50 years. His favorite pastime was golfing with his family and friends. George’s Celebration of Life will be held Thursday May 17, 2018 at 2:00pm at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home, located at 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley BC. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
