George “Irwin” Newman, of Cornwall, aged 68 years. Beloved
husband, soulmate and “best” friend of Sereita (Neill).
Dear father of Jill MacMillan (Chad) and Jeannie Newman (Bobby
Campbell). Cherished Poppy of Chase and Cody MacMillan and Grayson
Campbell. Brother of Ralph (Marjorie) and Lloyd (Linda).
Brother-in-law of Robert Roberts. Predeceased by his parents Alton and
Florence (Campbell) Newman, brother Wilfred Newman (Victoria), sister
Eleanor Roberts, parents-in-law Omer and Eileen (Younker) Neill and
sister-in-law Sally MacNeill. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for
visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at
West River United Church, Cornwall, on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment
in Kingston United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to
Provincial Palliative Care Centre or West River United Church.
