Peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late Ted Geoffrey (1999). Dear mother of Darlene and Doug Finkbeiner of Crediton, Colleen and Dan Wilson of Port Stanley, Doug Geoffrey and his friend Christine Cramer of Grand Bend, Randy and Vicki Geoffrey of Zurich, Steve and Patti Geoffrey of Zurich, and daughter-in-law Darlene Porter of Exeter. Loving Mémé of Shawn, Carrie-Lynn, late Jeff (2002), and Michelle; Kristian, and Jody; Rochelle, Greg, David, and Jeremy; Pamela, Jason, and Jeremy; Kim, Rebecca, Laura Jean, and Michael. Caring great Mémé of 30. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Antoinette Taylor, Patsy Rau, Tillie Rau, and Harold Denomme. Predeceased by siblings Wilfred and Marie Rau, Andrew and Alida Rau, Anthony Rau, Henry Rau, Bob Taylor, Teresa and Leo Masse, and Madeline Denomme. Jean was a member of the Catholic Womens League for 65 years. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Bluewater Rest Home for their kindness and compassion.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street N, Zurich on Sunday from 2-4 and 7—9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 22 Mary St, Zurich on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11 AM with Fr. Matthew George, Presiding. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, St. Joseph.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Colleen, Dan, and family,
I was so saddened to just read of Colleens moms passing.
Losing a parent leaves such a huge and empty void in your heart.
Colleen spoke so lovingly of her mom at the get together in September.
You were all so blessed for her to have been part of your children and grandchildrens lives but it
certainly doesn’t make the goodbye any easier.

Going to miss you meme .. you were a very big part of our Overholt family … I was lucky to share so many thanksgivings , Christmas s , weddings, baby /bridal showers , card games , and our crazy Overholt games we made you play ( you were a good sport ) your laugh and beauty will be missed in the room .
