CHINN – Gary, Robert Age 68, of Falmouth, NS, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 19, 2018. Born in Halifax, on August 29, 1949; he was the son of the late Herbert Chinn and beloved mother, Lavinia (Messervey) Chinn. As a young boy, his family settled in Rockingham, a community that always held a special place in his heart. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind and gentle soul who loved Elvis and rock & roll. He is survived by his sisters: Leona, June and Shirley; brothers: Rodger (Barbara) and Vern; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Wayne and his step-father Charles (Char) Chinn. A special thank you to his caring niece, Nicole Chinn (Justin); she was his supportive, loving caregiver for many years. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dartmouth Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.
