Peacefully but suddenly with his loving wife of 55 years by his side at his home on Three Mile Lake on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the age of 78.
Gary, beloved husband of Joyce (nee Budarick).
Proud dad of Shaun McFarlane (Liza), Neil McFarlane (Nancy) and Wendy McFarlane (Jim Young).
Loving Pa of Taylor McFarlane, Kaitlin Jeter (Brandan), Amanda McFarlane, Nathan Young, Benjamin Young and of great grandchildren Evelynn Jeter and Samuel Jeter.
Cherished brother of Patricia Tiveron (Peter), Barbara Stadnyk (late John) and brother-in-law of Conny Budarick and Karen Rogers (Art).
Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Gary McFarlane will be conducted at the Burk’s Falls United Church on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. with Reverend Linda Newnham officiating.
At Gary’s request, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls.
If desired, memorial donations to the Burk’s Falls United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
