OBITUARY
Gary Anthony Ramey
October 1, 1966 – July 24, 2018
RAMEY, Gary Anthony – 51, of Dartmouth, our son, brother, uncle and friend who filled us with so much joy, sadly left us far too soon, at home on July 24, 2018. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Keith C. and Marilyn J. (Sawler) Ramey. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Shelley (Ralph Wilson), of Dartmouth; brother, Tim (Adriana) of Halifax; nieces and nephews; Alex, Kara, Luc and Elena. Gary had a passion for his family, travel, animals, cars, life and laughter. He will be remembered as a caring person who gave so much too so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. His kind heart and quick wit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His passing will forever leave a void in our hearts. Gary graduated from Prince Andrew High School before attending St. Mary’s University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. He immediately joined the family firm, Ramey Investments Incorporated, and spent the remainder of his career assisting hundreds of clients achieve their financial goals. He was also very proud of his participation in another family company, Blomidon Estate Winery. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eastern Passage; Rev. Cate Ratcliffe officiating. Burial will take place in St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Family flowers only.
