George Royce Clark
1945 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Royce Clark of Nelson Miramichi, NB announce his passing at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 73.
Royce was born in Newcastle, NB on July 3, 1945, son of the late Anges (Maude) and George Clark of Chelmsford. He was employed for 43 ½ years with the Public Works department of the former town of Newcastle and the City of Miramichi. Over the years he enjoyed 4 wheeling, boating, travelling and tinkering away in his garage.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary Elizabeth (George); sons: Jerry (Angela) of McNamee, George of Toronto, Andrew (Reesa) of Drumheller, AB, Jeffrey (Diane) of Saskatoon, SK and Michael (Ashley) of LaRonge, SK; grandchildren: Braden (Emma), Anna, Logan, Maria and Kenley; sister, Rose (Bob) Jeppensen of New Denmark, NB; brothers: Thomas (Irene) of Chelmsford, NB and Clinton (Eva) of Mississauga, Ont.; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann (Max) Swanson of Harvey, NB; brother-in-law, Jack Hotham of Moncton, NB; longtime friend Gerald LeBlanc of Miramichi; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his constant companion Minoue. He was predeceased by his sister Darlene Hotham, niece, Andrea Hotham, mother and father-in-law, Betty and Arthur George of Sackville.
Visitation will be held from Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Darel Tozer officiating. Interment will be held in the MacKinleyville Cemetery, MacKinleyville, NB.
