Obituary for
Freida Cavallin (Little)
After a short battle with cancer, it is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved wife, mother, and Nana at the Carpenter Hospice on Sunday, April 8th, 2018 in her 84th year. Beloved and devoted wife of Candido (Con) for 63 years. Cherished mother of Debby (Frank) Brouwers, Glenn (Laurine) Cavallin, and Sean (Chandi) Cavallin. Dearest Nana to Sarah, Heather, Hannah, Tyson, Emily, Alivia, Ryan and Jason. Will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Charlotte, Lilly, Brynn, Paige and Cooper. Frieda lived for her family. Her gentle, generous, and loving nature was inspiration to all of us. The wonderful memories she leaves behind will never die; for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so very much. A special thank you to all the staff at the Joseph Brant Hospital, 6th Floor S. for their wonderful care during her stay and also to the Carpenter Hospice for the special care she received during her last days. Our family is so grateful to you ALL! As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life with the family and friends on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at SMITH’S Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON from 3 – 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her memory to the Carpenter Hospice, 2250 Parkway Drive, Burlington, ON L7P 1T1.
