Frederick Paul Wallace
August 31, 1924 – August 31, 2018
Frederick Paul Wallace was born on August 31, 1924 in Westlock, AB to Emma-Marie and Hugh Wallace. He passed away peacefully on August 31, 2018 at the Barrhead Hospital at the age of 94. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 65 years Bertha. Children; Don (Maxine) Wallace and their sons Matt (Katie) and John. Daughter Catherine Sturwold and her son Devin (Kim), great grandchildren Liam & Kinley. Son David (Diana) Wallace and their daughter Melissa. Sister Dorothy (Ed) Wichert, Niece Elizabeth Wallace (Brent Latimer), Nephews Robert Wichert, Martin (Christy) Wichert and Gordon
Wichert. Fred was predeceased by his parents Emma-Marie and Hugh Wallace, step-mother Dorothy Wallace, Brother William (Rod) Wallace and son-in-law Rod Sturwold. Fred had a love for the farm and seldom left it. He also had a passion for fixing farm machinery. He enjoyed walking around the farm and could be found pampering his cats and feeding the birds. He was a man that enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved his family and the Wallace Farm.
Celebration of life was held on Monday September 10, 2018 at the Barrhead United Church. Donations may be made to the Barrhead Health Care Centre or Diabetes Canada. Rose Garden Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
