Frederick « Fred » Donaldson
Passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018 surrounded by his family at 93 years of age. Reunited with his beloved wife Grace (2014) on the anniversary of her death. Loving father of Robert Donaldson and husband Gerry Chittle, Douglas Donaldson and wife Josée of Gatineau, QC, Barbara Donaldson and husband Gary Hillier and Lance Donaldson and wife Youlanda of Las Vegas, Nevada. Cherished grandpa of Dana McFadden (Sean), Julie Zydek (Floryan), Ryan Chittle (Theresa), Charles Donaldson (Melissa), Philip Donaldson, Meaghan O’Brien (Gabe) and Victoria Hillier. Beloved great grandfather of 9 precious great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late James Donaldson, and his late wife Emma and the late Douglas Donaldson and wife Barbara. Brother-in-law of Erma Nyiri. Fred was a member of the K of C #4386, RCL Branch #255, Windsor Transportation Inc., the Transportation Club of Detroit and the War Pensioners of Canada-Rose City Branch.
