Freda Norma Hanf
Hanf, Freda Norma, 75, Darlings Lake. It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Freda Norma Hanf, which occurred July 19,2018. Born June 21,1943, she was the daughter to the late Vernon Sr. and Katherine (Fortune) Crowell. Freda was known for being a hard worker and a very giving lady. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. Her home was her pride and joy, she took great joy in sitting enjoying the view of the lake. Surviving are her husband Stan Sweeny; Daughters, Holly Hanf, South Cheggogin; Jacqueline Comeau, Digby; Susan (Calvin) Keizer, Meteghan; Grandchildren, Katie Nickerson, Ashley and Jacob Comeau, , Danielle and Clayton Keizer; Great Grandchildren, Madison Nickerson, Emma and Isabelle Keizer, Mia, Jace, Cole, Kylie, Noah and John Comeau; Sisters, Marilyn (Art) Saunders; Helen Amero; Sister in law, Gerry Crowell; Brothers, Paul (Gail) Crowell; Teddy Crowell. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Everett and Vernon Jr. ; two sisters in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11am from the Darlings Lake Cemetery, where she will rest peacefully with her family who have gone on before her. There will be a reception to follow at her home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
