MacPhee, Francis Joseph “Frank”
Suddenly on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the age of 53, Frank passed away. Beloved son of Darlene and Francis Sr (Joan). Loving brother of Barbara Ann, and Ian Kenzie (Stephanie), and the late Bradley Alexander. Beloved partner in life of Lisa and dear stepdad of Jacob (Jacobi). Dear uncle to Jordan, Bhreagh, Breanne, Kayden, Naraya, Jared, Noah, and Braeden. Predeceased by his Uncle John. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, family, friends and colleagues.
Frank was a loyal and dedicated 30 year employee of Tribute Communities who understood the meaning of “team player”. As Vice President of Contracts, he always focused on the good of the company and made many great contributions. He was President of the Durham Homebuilder Association twice and had a huge impact on the construction industry. He will be remembered for his kind heart and great sense of humour.
Frank was a larger than life personality who made a point of enjoying everyday and he was determined to share that joy with family and life long friends along the way. He loved to hear a good joke and was a great storyteller who had special names for everyone. Frank loved to fire up his Harley for a sweet ride and he had a fierce appreciation for nature. There will be less laughter at the party without Frank. Ride free Frankie, ride free.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) on Sunday, December 30th from 12:00 pm -2:00 pm A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Sunday, December 30th at 2:00 pm.
