88 years
Peacefully, Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at the Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron, with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Rose Laplante (Moyle) (née Brisebois) predeceased 2005. Loving father of Michel Laplante (Miriam St-Onge) and stepfather of Lester Moyle predeceased (Hélène) and Lionel Moyle predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Katherine Moyle-Weiman (Mark), Christopher Moyle (Janet Cloutier), and great grandchildren Caitlin, Karis, Kya, and Myla.
Dear son of Louis Napoléon and Marie (née Charlebois) Laplante both predeceased. Dear brother of Jean Paul Laplante predeceased (Denise), Jeanne d’Arc Bélanger (Raoul predeceased), Martin Laplante (Rose predeceased), Blanche Damien (Jean predeceased), Guillaume Laplante predeceased, Annette Laplante (Jacques Paré predeceased), and Bernadette Gagnon (Roland) both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Frank was an avid carver and when able, he could be found in his woodshop working on the finest of details. His elaborate carvings of various birds were shared with many who knew him. He also loved spending time at camp.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre and the Lasalle Residence for their care and compassion.

(Friends may gather after 11am Friday).
Cremation with interment at the Valley East Cemetery.
