Francisco Reis
1934-2018
Reis, Francisco (1934-2018) … Passed away peacefully at
Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 14, 2018. Beloved
husband of Maria Reis. Francisco immigrated to Canada in 1966; he was
an employee of Shaver Poultry for many years. Francisco had a strong
devotion to the church and had the patience to build many wooden
sculptures of churches and old buildings. He will be sadly missed by
his siblings Benardino (Virginia), and Rosa (the late John).
Predeceased by Antonio, Manuel (Beatriz), Maria (Antonio), Jose,
Emilia (Manuel), Virginia (Joao), Joao (Maria), Ana (Jose), Conceicao
(Benardino) and Ermelinda (Joao). Brother-in-laws Antonio, Jose
(Terzinha), sister-in-law Fatima (Jose) and the late Manuel (Maria) of
USA, also many nieces, nephews throughout North America and Portugal.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where
family and friends will be received on Friday February 16, 2018 from
6-9p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8p.m. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin
St. S., Cambridge, on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11a.m. Interment
will follow at Parklawn Cemetery
