avis: My beloved father, Francesco Trentadue of Modugno, Italy was born May 6, 1929, and died at the age of 88, on March 8, 2018 in his Toronto home, just short of his 89th birthday and 63rd wedding anniversary. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria (nee Rezza), daughters Pasqua and Raffaela, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and their respective families. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to read the newspaper. He was so proud of obtaining his tank driving certificate in the 1940s and would tell stories about his military life and the war. He was a meticulous, smart, handsome, nostalgic, sharp dressed, protective and witty father who was all about family, faith and home (the vegetable garden!). His favourite song was L’immensita (translates to the word Infinity-ironic as the number 8 represents infinity and he died on the 8th, 2018 at age 88). Our love for him is endless and we will never forget the love, strength, courage, and support he had for his family, and we will never forget his infectious smile. Francesco 32 lives infinitely in our hearts. Sogni d’oro Papa.
