MIEHM, Frances Emilija – Died peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Mount Hope, London, Ontario in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid M. Miehm (Aug.19, 1999). Cherished mother of Murray Miehm (Linda Lippert) of Georgian Bluffs, Ontario, Cherylann Grace (Dr. Archie Grace) of London, Ontario, and the late Gary Miehm (Jan.8, 1958). Loving grandmother of Archie P. Grace Jr. (Dr. Charlotte Hogan) of Boston Massachusetts, Colin M. Grace (Dr. Sali Farhan) of London, Ontario, Gavin J. Grace (Ivy Tang) of Toronto, Ontario and great grandmother of Ada Q. Grace of Boston, Massachusetts. Survived by siblings Amelia Evans, Helen Shanahan, Louis Paleczny (Janice), Ronald Paleczny (Alice) and brother-in-law Robert Pullin. Frances is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Natalia Paleczny, sisters Ann Tschirhart, Jenny Liszak, Angela Lis and Jeanette Pullin. Predeceased by parents-in-laws Nelson and Agnes Miehm (Rose), brothers and sisters-in-laws Alta Miehm, Marjorie Bisch, Leonard Miehm, Nelson Miehm Jr. Sister Rose Marie Miehm SSND and Jerry Miehm. Frances was a longtime loyal fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and cheered for them from her seat in front of the television, at every opportunity! The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Marian Villa, for their kindness and dedication to Frances over the last year of her life. Cremation has taken place as per her wishes. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 44 Leonard Street, Kitchener, Ontario on Monday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m. with His Excellency Daniel J. Miehm Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peterborough, Ontario as celebrant. Interment of cremated remains at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, Ontario. Memorial contributions to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation (Marian Villa), St. Teresa’s Church, Kitchener or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
