Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at Chartwell Wynfield Long Term Care Residence, Oshawa on December 30, 2018, Frances (Fran) Woodward in her 97th year. Loving matriarch, she inspired with her love of life and family, and her strength, courage and determination. Loving mother of Bonnie Van Doorn Marshall (Michael), Candy Bryan (David) and Sydney Woodward (Debbie). Grandmother of Adam Bryan (Stacy), Matthew Bryan (Ann-Marie), Nicholas Bryan (Becki), Evert Van Doorn Struve (Kristine), Ashleigh Woodward (Felipe), and Jessica Woodward (Adrian). Great-grandmother of Jacob Bryan, Kaitlyn Bryan, Cole Bryan, Nolan Bryan and Noah Van Doorn Struve. Special friend of the late Jackson Spencer Wilson, and predeceased by Sid Woodward, Al Wilson, her parents, and by her brother, Dalton Draper, and her sister, Marie Stephenson. Fran will also be missed by her many friends and loved ones.
Friends are invited to visit with family at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
