Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 87. Husband of the late Tonina. Father of Rocco, Lorenzo (Karin) and Giuliana (Matteo). Nonno of Carmelina (Joel), Lorenzo (Roxane), Pierangelo (Michelle), Anthony (Francesca) and Stephani. Bisnonno of Amelia, Rocco, Clara, Stella, Nicolas and Olivia. Predeceased by his parents Assunta and Rocco, brothers; Mario (Rita) and Francesco (Pierina). He leaves behind his sister Carmelina (late Ipolito), brothers Antonio (Rosetta) and Luigi (Silvana) and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Friends may visit at Kelly Funeral Home, Somerset Chapel, 585 Somerset St.W., Ottawa, ON, K1R 5K1, 613-235-6712 on Sunday, January, 7, 2018 from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Monday, January 8, 2018 to St. Anthony’s Church (Booth at Gladstone) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 am. In memoriam donations may be made to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
