Florence Sherby
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Sherby at Concordia Place at the age of 86 years.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Steve, her mother Jean, her brothers Joe, Roy and Donnie, sisters-in-law Nettie and Alma.
Florence is survived by her daughter Karen (Bob), son Randy (Louise), grandchildren, Tanis, Chantelle (Matt), Kevin (Olivia), Leslie (Rick), Pamela (Matt), her 9 great grandchildren, also her sister Elsie and sister-in-law Olga.
Florence retired from Wilson Auto Electric after almost 30 years of service. She liked to crochet afgans. Mom and Dad liked to travel to Vegas, Hawaii and Alaska. They spent a lot of time at their cottage in Hillside Beach.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Concordia Village, Concordia Place and Irene Baron. Mom appreciated all of your kindness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence’s memory to Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception will follow.
