SHATTNER ABRAMSON, Florence (nee Shindler) – Peacefully, in Toronto, on Monday, October 15, 2018, one day before her one hundredth birthday. Beloved wife of the late Moe Shattner and the late Eli Abramson. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Rhoda and Sam Arnold, Carol and the late Jerry Shattner. Treasured Grandma of Cheryl and Gary Swanson, Julie and Howard Gilbert, Donnie and Yael Arnold; Michael Shattner and Stephen Litner, Andrea and Sam Castiglione. Cherished great-grandmother of Taylor, Brandon, and Erin Cox; Sophie and Leah Gilbert; Addi, Rachel, Jacqueline, and Sabrina Arnold; James and Juliana Castiglione. Predeceased by her brothers and their spouses, Dave and Shirley Shindler, Marty and Lenore and Carrie Shindler; and by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Sybil Shattner, Ruth and Hy Smiley. She will be dearly missed by her loving nieces and nephews, Stanley and Marly Shindler, Robert and Jolene Shindler, Norman and Marjie Shindler, and Steven and Kelley Shindler.
