Florence Elizabeth Mettlewsky, beloved wife of Leo Paul Mettlewsky of Calgary AB, passed away at the Clifton Manor Nursing Home in Calgary AB on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
She was the loving mother of: Roy (Loreen) Mettlewsky, grandmother of Jeff and Nora (Kevin Brown), great-grandchildren: Everly, Anika and Marshal Brown of Surrey, BC, Glenn Mettlewsky (Mavis Hutchings) of Calgary, Diane Mettlewsky, grandson Rob Mettlewsky of Calgary, Keith Mettlewsky (Louise Chisholm), grandson Brendan Mettlewsky of Calgary, Darren Mettlewsky (Angela Henderson), grandchildren Amery, Alex and Austin of Kathryn, AB.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Laura Sawrenko, cousins, and her long-time friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by husband Leo Mettlewsky, daughter Delores Mettlewsky, son Keith Mettlewsky and parents Lambert and Rose Bleile, brothers John and Gilbert Bleile.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525 – 45 Street SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
