Born in Moncton, New Brunswick on February 13th, 1923 she is the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret (Mulligan) Dann. It is with the deepest sadness in our hearts that the family of F.M. Taylor share news of her peaceful passing. Florance was well known in the Community and during the tenure of her career she worked as a medical receptionist for Dr. James
Fitzgerald in Lower Sackville. Florance is predeceased by her husband Douglas Taylor, daughter Nancy (David) Daniels, sons Daniel and David Taylor, sister Marjorie (Dennis) Halfpenny and brothers Oakley and Horace Dann. She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Kenny) Lindsay, grandchildren Chad (Terri) Lindsay, Ryan (Tracey) Lindsay, Sally (David) Rollings, Amy (Kevin) Matheson, Danielle (Hayk) Taylor Vardanyan and nieces Peggy Lewis, Patsy Hayes, and nephew Dennis Halfpenny. Nan was affectionately known as « Great One » by all of her great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by William and Benjamin Lindsay, Sophia and Isabelle Rollings, Lia Vardanyan, Jayden and Cody Fifield. Known for her petite size and giant sense of humor Great One has left her mark on all our hearts with her many stories, quick wit and feisty timing. Florance’s family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors at Hants Community Hospital during Nan’s brief stay as well as indicate a special thank you to Dr. Aidan Carey for his compassion and attention to Nan’s care.
