Fitz « Harman » Oliver
On Monday, December 24, 2018, Harman passed away peacefully at Midlands Gardens Community Care in Scarborough, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Cyrilene Oliver and his two daughters, Gloria Sealy (Canada) and Cherylann Morris (Barbados), Father-in-law of Edward Sealy (Canada) and William Morris (Barbados). Grandfather of Peter and Andrea Sealy; Cathy Turner (Canada), Whitney Morris-Buntin and Wilando Morris (Barbados), Great-Grandfather of Hawwa, Abdul-Qayyuum, Khadijah, Asiyah, Daishun, Taivan, Janee, Lana, Tykura, Tiffany, Jeremy (Canada); Whiniki and Annikka (Barbados). Cousin of Samuel Brathwaite, and many others. Close friend of Silfred Worrell, Marcie and Shayna Weekes, Sharona Weekes-Layne, Amberson Taylor and many others. Friends and relatives will be received at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 4115 Lawrence Ave., East, Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St.Timothy’s Anglican Church, 4125 Sheppard Ave., East, Scarborough, Ontario. Interment will take place in Barbados. Online condolences can be made through Giffen-Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made in Harman’s name to St. Timothy’s Anglican Church.
