BELOHOUBEK, Ferdinand
Passed away peacefully in London Ontario, on Saturday October 6, in his 83rd year. Pre-deceased by his first wife Yvonne (Baumgartner), and his second wife Hannelore (Walsh). Mourned by his children Dana (Rob), Milan (Barb), Tom (Anita), and his step-son Matthew Walsh. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Stefan, Alexander, Katrina, and Christopher. “Ferd” overcame many hardships in his full life, including two emigrations due to political conflict, in a drive to make a better life for his family. He was a successful engineer in his home country of Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), and achieved the same professional standing in Canada, retiring after a fulfilling career at 3M Canada. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a Time of Remembrance following at 11:00 AM on Friday October 12 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) London, Ontario. Donations in Ferd’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
