Passed peacefully in his sleep with his daughter by his bedside, Sunday December 2nd 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Loving husband of the late Marjorie (2012). Loving father of Gail (Dennis) Pitkin, and Joan (Fred) McGrath. Loving grandfather of Robin (Calvin), Ian (Denise), Brian, Laura (Erin), and the late Jill. Dear great grandfather of Jill, Mya, Sarah, and a new arrival in March. Predeceased by brothers Melville, Norman, Cecil, sisters Mabel, Irene, Flora, Christina, and Catherine.
Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and the wonderful staff and friends at William Place, Lindsay. Ewan (Hughie) was a founding and life member of the Sunderland Lions Club.
A Celebration of his Life will take place from 2- 4pm. Sunday December 9th, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Sunderland.
