Obituary for
Evelyn LaRoche
Peacefully, on Friday, September 21, 2018, Evelyn Elizabeth LaRoche passed away at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell. Born on June 20, 1926, Evelyn was 92 years old. As a talented artist, Evelyn painted countless beautiful works of art on canvas. Throughout her years among us, Evelyn painted life around her with ways of kindness and caring, all accentuated by a feisty spirit.
Predeceased by her husband, Bernie (1998), Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her brother Vic and her niece and caregiver Diane Rapson and her husband Jim. Auntie Ev will be also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Bernie, in faith we trust that Evelyn’s spirit is now reunited in eternal life with her parents Horace and Eva (née Dayton) Savill, and her siblings Jack, Louise, Joe and their spouses.
Honouring Evelyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment at Clinton Cemetery will follow at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390)
