Obituary for Evelyn Marie Cowan (Miller)
Cowan, Evelyn – Entered into rest on October 21, 2018 at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes in her 96th year. Daughter of the late William Miller and Myrtle Wilson. Evelyn is survived by her loving daughter Sharon (Tim Pearson). Grandma of Tim Jr. (Cassandra), Brianne (Jason Callaghan), Amanda (Sean Hartin), Jeannine (Tyler Brownell), and step-grandmother to John Todd. Great-Grandmother to Thomas-Jay, Chase, Cash, Max, Shanna, Haidyn, Violet, Ellie, and Claire. Evelyn was the wife of the late Bruce Cowan, and the late Kenneth Blackburn. Predeceased by her brothers Frank (the late Ruby), Lloyd (the late Kay), and Art (survived by Margaret). A private family interment has taken place at Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Kawartha Lakes Autism Support or Five Counties Children’s Centre would be appreciated by the family.
