GRUE (Creelman), Eva Lewis – Age 90 of Bass River passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and pets on Oct. 16, 2018. Eva was born in Little Bass River June 30, 1928, the youngest of five children born to the late George B. and Grace (Lewis) Creelman. She was predeceased by her husband, Hilton Grue; siblings, Stanley, Douglas, Edith and Helen. Survived by son, Jim; daughters, Linda (Brian), Susan (Chris) and Karen (Bill). Also surviving are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930).No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, October. 20 in Riverside United Church, Bass River with reception to follow at the Fire Hall.
