Surrounded by the love of her family, Ervie Jeans passed peacefully away into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, December 18 2018.
Predeceased by husband, David Jeans Sr in 2006; parents Donald and Olga Dawe; parents-in-law Claude and Linda Jeans; stepmother Jean Dawe and sister Joy Dawe-Grimes.
Ervie will always be remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Melanie (Dave) Hicks and granddaughters Katherine and Ava; and her son David (Katrina) Jeans Jr and grandchildren Cameron, Georgia, Anna and Gracelyn. Her sister Barbara (Lester) Reid; brother Paul (Georgina) Dawe; step-brother Terry (Carol) Snelgrove; brother-in-law Paul Grimes. As well as brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Thursday December 20 2018 from 6-9 pm at Carnell’s Funeral Home on Freshwater Road. At 2 pm on Friday December 21, a celebration of her life will be held at Bethesda Pentecostal Church. Interment to follow at Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Gideons Memorial Fund will be gladly accepted in her honor.
