It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric James Benoit announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on November 22nd, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Debbie Benoit (nee Noseworthy) his daughter Erica (Steve) Hynes and son Philip Benoit, grandsons Evan Hynes and Jack Hynes. He also leaves to mourn his beautiful mother Mary Benoit, his siblings Lorraine (Roderick) Duffy Port Au Port NL, Frankie Benoit Stephenville NL, Bernie (Yvonne) Benoit NS, Phonse (Della) Benoit Brampton, Aiden Benoit Winnipeg, Mark Benoit Toronto, Darren (Florence) Benoit Scarborough Ont, George (Eva) Benoit Winnipeg, Sheila Cave Toronto, Mary Benoit Port Au Port NL, Jimmy Benoit Port Au Port NL, Tracey (Robert) Glasgow Torbay NL, Dennis (Krista) Benoit C.B.S St. Johns and a large circle of family & friends. He was predeceased by his wonderful and loving father James Bernard Benoit and also by a very special lady Alva Noseworthy, his mother-in-law who brought so much joy to his life. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville, NL on Sunday November 25th, 2018 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will take place 10:30 A.M. on Monday November 26 at Maria Regina Parish in Port Au Port with Inurnment to follow at the RC cemetery in Port au Port, NL. A very special thank you to Dr. Scott Lamswood, his nurses and care givers Jenita and Darlene. It was greatly appreciated by the family. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to Port Au Port East Cemetery.
