At Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 of Eric Gauthier, age 91.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Gauthier who left this world in peace…
Predeceased by his wife Margaret who passed away May 22, 2018. Loving father of Michael (Lorrie), Ann Marie, Debbie, Mary (Gerry) Corcoran. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Sue, Dave, Mark, Sarah, Billy, Shelley, Laurie, Meghan, Kelsey and Bradley and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family gives special thanks to the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at the Montfort Hospital who were so kind to him and the family during this difficult time.
He will be fondly remembered by many for his good nature and sense of humour and especially his Oshawa, particularly Mary Daley (Fabian), and Cornwall families. He will also be missed greatly by many at Elmsmere Villa where he resided for the last five years.
A Chapel Service will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations to the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
