Emilio Lupia
LUPIA, Emilio – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emilio with his loving family at his side at the Salvation Army Eventide Home on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Storring) for 60 years. Devoted father of Emilio Jr. (Sandy Rocco), Gabriele (Angie Muraca), Susanna (Philip) Harrison, Joseph (Jodi Cupolo) and Rosemary (David) Kaupp. Adored grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5. Emilio is survived by his 4 sisters in Rogliano, Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Emilio was born on March 4, 1925 in Parenti Italy. In 1950 he immigrated to Canada and settled to Niagara Falls where he met the love of his life Elizabeth. In 1960 he opened Lupia Bros. Auto Body Shop. After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and doting over his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm A Funeral Mass in remembrance of Emilio, will be held at St. Thomas More on Monday at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and the Salvation Army Eventide Home.
