BRADBURY, Elwood Peter “Dinky”
Age 69, of Upper Sackville passed away August 21st in the Cobequid Community Health Centre. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late, Gordon & Mary (Purcell) Bradbury. Elwood worked 18 years at Odeon Theaters, 15 years for Humpty Dumpty Foods, 5 years for Jano Water and 5 years at Mountain Spring Water retiring from Canadian Springs. He is survived by his loving wife Tammy; daughter, Rebecca (Derek) Lorenz of Alberta. Sons, Nathan (Natasha) Bradbury of Bedford, and Gordon (Mary) Bradbury of Alberta. Sisters, Rose (Nelson) Bradbury and Peggy (Mike) Settle. Seven loving grandchildren. Predeceased by son, Elwood Bradbury and brother, Cyril Bradbury. A celebration of Elwood’s life will be held 2-4 Thursday, August 30 in Atlantic Funeral Home 125 Sackville Drive. Donations may be made to SPCA Nova Scotia and or Hope For Wild Life Nova Scotia.
