Elwood C. Dickson
1934 – 2018
Elwood Charles Dickson, husband of Shirley (Wilson) Dickson of Retirement Miramichi, passed away at the Bathurst Regional Hospital on September 4, 2018 at the age of 84.
Born in Chatham on September 2, 1934, he was the son of the late Wood and Ellsie (Sobey) Dickson. He was an auto and heavy equipment mechanic by trade and was the guy everyone would come to if they needed work done. He was part of the Dart Club and helped coach hockey and baseball for a few years.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (Wilson) Dickson; one daughter Lynn Dickson of Red Deer, AB; three sons Danny Dickson (Natalie) of Sylvan Lake, AB, Rob Dickson (Cyndie) of Lasalle, IL and Trent Dickson (Tanya) of Napan; eight grandchildren Alex and Denver, Aaron, Brandon, Jeremy and Natasha, Ashley and Zachary; nieces, nephews and cousins.
By Elwood’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service held at this time. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
