GARBUTT, Elwin Grant
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at his residence on Sunday June 17, 2018. Elwin of Lakefield in his 89th year. Beloved Husband to the late Ruth Garbutt (2015). Loved and remembered by his children Trudy Ray (Gord) of Douro-Dummer, Grant Garbutt (Karen) of Lindsay, Neil Garbutt (Alison) of Havelock Belmont Methuen, CarolAnn Bolton (Ron) of Big Cedar and Mark Garbutt (Tina) of Apsley and by his son-in-law Wayne Greystock of Warsaw. Grandpa will always be held close to the hearts of his grandchildren Angela Waldron (Chad), Monica Ray, Heather Ray (Matt Bolton), Tanya Schryer (Adam Pollock), Kevin Garbutt (Jill), Jason Garbutt (Sara), Sara Garbutt, Amy Bolton (Rik Cook), Peter Bolton (Michelle Burnham), Donovan Brinklow (Melissa), Darren Brinklow (Kayla), Alyssa Tubman (James) and Alex Garbutt (Jaclyne Edmondson) and by his great grandchildren. Also remembered by his sister Ruth Dunford. Predeceased by his daughter Patsy Greystock, granddaughter Melissa Garbuttt, and his parents Harry and Vera. A special thanks to Dr. Kelly Parks and the St. Elizabeth Health Care Nurses and PSW’s for the care shown towards Elwin. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
