Obituary of Elsie Demitroff
At Summit Place in Owen Sound on Sunday, December 9, 2018 – Elsie Adeline Erwin at the age of 94 years. Predeceased in 2012 by her loving husband of 33 years, Bruce Demitroff and by Cy Wilson (1977). Mother of Larry (Laurie) Wilson of Russell and Doug (Joan) Wilson of Meaford. Step mother of Jessie Lueck (Larry) of Paisley, Larry Demitroff (Sandra) of Chatsworth, and Bruce Demitroff (Donna) of Athens. Mother-in-law of Bob Wilson of Saskatoon and step-mother-in-law of Ruth Demitroff of Wallaceburg. Grandmother of Kathy, BJ, Mark, Jeff, Mike, Steve and Sherri Wilson and their families. Step-grandmother of Jason, Jeremy, Shannon, Chris and Kinzie Lueck; David, Peter-Gordon, Paula, John, Jamie, Andrew and Matthew Demitroff and their families. Predeceased by her parents – Islay and Ab Erwin, brother Clark Erwin, sister Lina McKelvie, daughter Shirley Wilson, her step-son Rev. Stephen Demitroff and step-grandson Larry Demitroff.
A Funeral Service for Elsie Demitroff will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, ON. N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492 on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paula Classey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. If so desired, donations to the Grey Bruce Regional Hospital Foundation or to Summit Place for the Palliative Care Room would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
