Elsie Chaytor (Goobie)
CHAYTOR, Elsie (nee Goobie) – Announcing the passing of Elsie Chaytor age 85 years on October 5, 2018. She leaves to mourn her life long partner, her husband of 64 years William Chaytor. Their family grew over the years, daughter Debbie (Keith) Bonnell and children: Ross (Sarah) and their boys: William, Maxwell and Thomas; Natalie (Steve) and their daughter Elise; sons: Bill (Margo) and their children Rebecca and Josh (Chelsea) and their daughter Maple; Ed (Lori) and their children Amie (Shane); Curtis (Angela) and daughter Leah and Kristian (Jessica). We will miss her and be forever grateful for sharing life with her. Also remembered by her family and extended family from her childhood home of Goobies, especially Phyllis Clench, Marjorie Richards, Lillias Laite, Audrey (Wilson) Stoyles and Mary Sheppard. United by marriage is George (Mabel) Chaytor, Gloria (Ken) Miller and Mary Fowlow along with their families and many friends. Elsie loved to spend her time living life to the fullest enjoying fishing, gardening, hunting and so much more through the years. Above all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother keeping each and every one in her thoughts and heart. For over twenty years she challenged Parkinson’s disease with dignity. May she now Rest In Peace. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Elsie’s memory to the Parkinson’s Society.
