ASHWORTH, Elsie (nee Warrener)
Elsie Ashworth passed away after a short stay at Georgetown Hospital but a long battle with cancer in her 90th year. Predeceased in March 2016 by her husband John of 67 years, they are now reunited for eternity. Loving Mother of Christine Rideout (Bob), grandmother of Johnny and Kyle and great-grandmother of Lyla.
Thank you to the wonderful caring staff at Georgetown Hospital, Dr. Zeni and in particular nurses Margaret, Shania and Melissa. Special thank you to CCAC Nurse Diana Markovic and Ann, Barb, Janet and Hazel of Peace of Mind home care services that made it possible for Mom to stay in her home close to the end.
A private funeral will be held at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. East, Acton, 519-853-0350. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills would be appreciated by the family in memory of both John and Elsie Ashworth.
