Obituary for Elmer King
It is with great sadness that the family of Elmer John King announces his passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Elmer will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Claudia and his children, Gerry (Lynn), Connie (Brian), and Diane (Peter). Elmer will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren, Amie (Trevor), Eric (Shannon), Alicia, Jesse, and Cory, by his five great grandchildren Lauren, Lillian, Olivia, Maxwell, and Cole, by his sister, Eileen Boudreau and brother Eldon King. Elmer was predeceased by his sister Elvicie King. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday with parish prayers at 3:30 PM. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady of Help Christian Church 422 Elgin St. in Wallaceburg on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 AM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Elmer to the American Heart Association (208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 1500 Chicago, IL 60604-1242) or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 98018 Washington DC 20090-8018).
