Passed peacefully at Trillium Manor in Orillia on Wednesday October 24, 2018 in her 93rd year. Ella, predeceased by her husband Dave, and will be sadly missed by her children Jim of Orillia, Fred (Lois) of Barrie, and Trish Vollick of Orillia, and by her grandchildren Bryan (Tiffany), Melanie, Jennifer (Josh), and Brent (Sonya). Ella will be cherished by her great grandchildren Jade, Rylan, Cash, Ryker, Gryffin, Carter, and Chloe. Ella is predeceased by her brother Stanley Wood, and by her sisters Doris Sockett and Muriel Holst. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday December 3, 2018 from 10 am until time of memorial service at 11 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Trillium Manor and would be appreciated by the family.
