Obituary of Elizabeth Hoover
HOOVER- Elizabeth Marie (nee Geiger), passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at Northland Pointe on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan Hoover (2006), loving mother of Janet (Stan) Dayboll, the late Susan Schisler (2018), Joe (Bonnie) Hoover, Howard (Sherry) Hoover, Lori (Rick) Bastien and Ron Hoover. Dear grandmother and great grandmother to many. Sister of Margaret Pelino, Bob (Kathy) Geiger and late Steve Geiger. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Theresa Geiger. Elizabeth was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church and the CWL for 60 years. Special thanks to all the staff at Northland Pointe for their many years of care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church, in Wainfleet, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael Basque as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Morgan’s Point Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
