Obituary of Elizabeth Peyton
Passed peacefully away on December 12, 2018, Elizabeth “Betty” Peyton at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood. She was 85 years of age. Mrs. Peyton was a soldier of the Salvation Army Botwood Corps, and was actively involved as a Sunday school teacher, songster and Women’s Ministries until her health started to decline. She was also an active member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Annie Dalley; brothers Cecil and Baxter Dalley; son Brian Peyton. She leaves to mourn her husband Oswald; son Mervin (Karen) Peyton; daughter Kelly (Robert) Andrews; daughter-in-law Karen Oxford; grandchildren Andrew, Melanie, Emily, Rachel, Kirke, Brandon and Jordan; great grandchildren Brayden, Brianne, Jaxson and a circle of other relatives and friends. Captains Morgan and Lisa Hillier will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel, Botwood on Saturday at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at the Botwood Community cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Salvation Army Band, Botwood.
